We're here to ensure a smooth setup experience for your Eight Sleep Pod. Here's a quick overview of what you'll need:

  

**Smartphone or Tablet**

*   Download and run the Eight Sleep App, your central Hub for controlling the Pod.  
      
    
*   Our app is compatible with a wide range of devices:
    
    *   Apple: iOS version 17+
        
    *   Android: Devices running Android version 9.0 Pie or later
        

  

**Power Outlet**

*   Locate a power outlet near your bed or within your bedroom for a convenient connection.
    
*   The Eight Sleep cables provide a total length of 6 feet.
    
*   Eight Sleep uses a universal 18V power supply that adapts to most countries' voltage standards (110V and 220V).
    
*   Depending on your location, an additional adapter might be needed for your specific country's outlet type.
    

  

 **Wi-Fi Network**

*   Ensure you have a Wi-Fi network available for your Pod to connect to.
    
*   Earlier Pod versions (Pod, Pod Pro, Pod 2 Pro, Pod 2) require a 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi network.
    
*   Pod 3, Pod 4, Pod 5, and Pod 6 offer wider compatibility with both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz networks.
