**What is being collected?**

During your sleep, the Pod collects information about you and your environment to provide valuable insights into your sleep quality. This data includes:

*   Body movements
    
*   Heart rate
    
*   Respiratory rate
    
*   Snoring
    
*   Bed temperature
    
*   Room temperature
    

We combine and analyze this data to create detailed reports on your sleep quantity, quality, and patterns. This information helps you understand your sleep habits and identify areas for improvement. 

**Is my Data being used for Marketing?**

No, Biometric data (heart rate, HRV, respiratory rate, movement) is NOT used for advertising or remarketing. Some of our marketing refers to member data; however, this information was not collected without explicit consent. We also have a clinical team that follows rigorous data privacy standards.

**Are you selling my data to third parties?**

We do not sell your personal information to third parties. 

**Is the AI support safe?**

Our AI support, Decagon, is SOC 2 Type II, GDPR, and HIPAA compliant. They have a zero data retention agreement and do not use interactions for training. **Can anyone, inside or outside Eight Sleep, access my sleep data?**

Data security is really important for us. Our support team cannot access any of your personal sleep data or app settings without explicit data consent.
