We understand that many people like to share their bed with their furry friends and their children. While the Eight Sleep Pod is designed for comfortable sleep, there are a few things to consider when it comes to pets:

**Warranty**  
The Pod’s technology is located just beneath the surface of the Pod’s Cover. If your pet has long claws, there's a potential risk of them compromising the cover, which is not covered under our warranty. To minimize this risk, we strongly recommend keeping your pet's claws trimmed.

  

**Safety**  
We suggest having your pet sleep on a comforter or a heavy blanket. This will reduce the risk of scratching the Pod's surface.

  

**Sleep Data Accuracy**  
It's important to note that having pets or children in bed while you sleep can affect the Pod's sleep-tracking data accuracy. The Pod measures factors like movement and pressure, which can be significantly influenced by additional occupants in the bed.
